Job summary

Winnaleah District High School in Tasmania seeks an Advanced Skills Teacher to implement and manage learning programs for students and to assess their progress. The role supports the Principal in educational leadership and administration within a school sector.

The successful applicant will contribute to strategic planning, staff development, and curriculum delivery in a rural context, with ongoing career pathways and a commitment to student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) in Tasmania is required.
• A registered teacher with full registration under the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
• Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005.
• Four years or more training as defined in the Award 2005.

Responsibilities

• To implement and manage appropriate learning programs for students and to assess individual student progress.
• To assist the Principal in the general educational leadership, management and administration of a particular sector of a school or college.
