Job summary

Y Schools Queensland in Fortitude Valley is seeking a Teacher Aide for a permanent full-time position. You will support teachers, students and parents with learning activities and administrative duties in a caring school environment.

The role is on-site, five days a week, with responsibilities including supervised learning groups, resource preparation, and data collection to monitor literacy and numeracy progress.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Education Support or equivalent experience.
• Support literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Differentiate teaching, learning and assessment plans.
• Prepare resources aligned with literacy intervention program.
• Assist with data collection to track student progress.

Responsibilities

• Display respect and empathy for students and families.
• Supervise small groups and support activities when teacher is away.
• Collaborate in a small team to achieve educational outcomes.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and code of conduct.
• Conduct reading, maths groups and resource gathering as directed.
