Job summary

Moorooduc Primary School on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking a dedicated Education Support Class staff member to assist teachers, support student wellbeing and contribute to a positive learning environment. The role is part-time, 6 hours per week, with duties guided by school policy and supervision by a lead teacher.

Responsibilities include routine classroom support, student supervision during breaks, and coordination of support tasks under the direction of the principal.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills for teamwork and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine support for teachers including assisting with planning of student routines.
• Supports communication between teachers and parents and carers.
• Communicates with teachers on routine matters related to students and responsibilities.
• Provides basic physical care and wellbeing support for students as needed.
• Coordinates and rost ers duties to support educational programs and student outcomes.
• Assists with rostering, supervision and coordination of aides and support staff.
