Job summary

Department of Education in Western Australia seeks a Publications Officer to plan, implement and evaluate writing services for Authority publications. You will provide high‑level editing, advise staff on best practices, and collaborate with teams across the Division to ensure quality outputs.

The role requires strong editing, communication, and organisational skills, with an ability to research and synthesise information quickly and accurately.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated editing, proofreading and quality assurance of educational materials for school systems and community.
• Experience in design, development and delivery of publications and communications.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with ability to work across levels.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking with ability to develop and implement key projects.

Responsibilities
