Job summary

Mount Scopus Memorial College invites applications for a psychology in education role in our Burwood Secondary School, commencing 27 January 2027. The position is either 0.8 FTE part-time or 1.0 FTE full-time, permanent and ongoing, reflecting a commitment to student wellbeing and learning across the campus.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration, understand Child Safe Standards, and hold WWC checks.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a psychologist.
• Sound understanding of Child Safe Standards and commitment to child wellbeing.
• Experience in a similar school environment is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support and build the capacity of the school community in psychology in education and learning.
• Focus on social and emotional development across the secondary cohort.
• Contribute to ongoing school safety and student welfare initiatives.
