Job summary

The Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne is seeking an energetic Education Coordinator to deliver the Youth and Education program, acting as the key link between the company, secondary schools and the wider education sector. The role coordinates delivery details, engages workshop leaders and artists, and develops education resources including Prompt Packs for VCE playlists and materials for The Suitcase Series.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in digital publishing and CMS tools.
Demonstrated project management and producing capabilities across multiple initiatives.
Strong administrative systems and attention to detail.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse education sector stakeholders.
Knowledge of VCE Theatre Studies and Drama study design is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Maintain and build relationships with teachers and the education sector.
Design and deliver education initiatives and resources for Playlist productions.
Coordinate budgets, bookings, and education events with internal teams.
Liaise with artists, Senior Producer, Development Manager and Marketing for education programs.
Manage the Suitcase Series bookings and Tessitura workflows.
Maintain the Suitcase Series web portal and update education collateral.
