Job summary

UNSW invites applications for Associate Lecturer / Lecturer (Pharmacology) in the School of Biomedical Sciences. The role emphasises high-quality pharmacology teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs and requires a strong commitment to student learning.

At Level A you deliver classes, create learning resources, assess students and support course administration. Level B involves greater independence in design and delivery, with Course Authority responsibilities and ongoing teaching

Qualifications

PhD in Pharmacology or related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
Experience in teaching and learning design, development and/or delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
Knowledge of educational technologies and online delivery methods.
Commitment to work-integrated learning (desirable).
Experience engaging students and providing meaningful assessment and feedback.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Deliver classes, assess student learning and support course administration with guidance from senior academics.
Level B: design and deliver teaching, assessment and learning activities with greater independence and Course Authority responsibilities.
Contribute to teaching quality improvement and student learning experiences across the School.
