The University of Newcastle is seeking an Education Development Officer to advance teaching quality across our campus. You will work with educators to shape professional growth and enhance teaching practices within the Learning Design and Teaching Innovation unit.

This fixed term position is full time at a HEW 6 Higher Education Level until the end of June 2028 and will be based at Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).

The Learning Design and Teaching Innovation unit support academic staff to provide innovative and engaging learning experiences in a changing and complex learning environment. LDTI offer curriculum design support, pedagogical advice and training, high-quality resource creation, and also administer, and manage the ongoing evolution of, the University’s virtual learning environment.
