Job summary

The Migration Company is seeking an in-person full-time/part-time International Student Counsellor to join its Sydney team. The role provides detailed information about studying in Australian universities, helps students prepare university and visa documents, and manages student inquiries by phone or email.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, strong communication skills, and experience in education consulting; QEAC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in education consulting is preferred.
• QEAC certification desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide information about studying in Australian universities and institutions.
• Answer daily inquiries via phone or email.
• Design study plans tailored to student profiles.
• Assist with documents for university applications, enrolment and visa applications.
• Liaise between students and admission officers.
• Participate in student activities and marketing campaigns to collect client data.
• Make outbound calls or messages to generate potential sales leads.
• Handle other student services duties including applications, visas, and study plans.
• Assist with social media appearances for company content.

• A full -time international student counsellor /education consultant to work with our professional team in Sydney office;
• Providing students with professional and comprehensive information about studying in Australian universities and institutions;
• Answer student’s daily enquiries via telephone or email;
• Design a reasonable and effective study plan according to the student’s situation;
• Instruct students to prepare documents for university application/enrolment and visa application.
• Liaise between students and admission officer
• Paticipate in student activities and marketing campaigns to collect potential client data.
• Make outbound cold calls or send messages to targeted clients identifying potential sale lead
• Deal with other student service duties including but not limited to applications visas and study plans.
• Social Media Appearance (Company Videos)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above;
• Familiar with Australian international education and immigration system;
• Have excellent student service awareness and communication skills;
• Fluent in English
• Have a certain sense of sales and service promotionï¼;
• Experience in the education consulting industry is preferred;
• QEAC Certification is desirable but not mandatory;
• Sophisticated skill in Microsoft Office software;
• Strong time -management and multitasking skills;
• Need to have work rights.
