Job summary

The Department of Education Victoria is seeking an Analyst to support the Budget Strategy team in developing the department's state budget submission. You will review business cases, analyse spending proposals, and provide quality advice to support decisions by departmental committees and ministerial offices.

As part of a high-performing team, you will engage with stakeholders across education policy development through the business case process, helping to allocate resources and design funding

Qualifications

• Experience with budget processes or public sector budgeting is highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret diverse data sources and produce meaningful insights.
• Capacity to advise with merit and engage stakeholders respectfully.
