Job summary

Apt Search in Sydney seeks an eDiscovery Project Manager to lead end-to-end matters using Nuix and Relativity. You will advise clients on data strategy and technology, delivering results with processing, hosting, forensics and finance teams to ensure on-time matter closure.

The role is hands-on, with about two-thirds client-facing and one-third hands-on platform work, located in Sydney with hybrid flexibility and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Legal field.
• Hands-on experience with Nuix and Relativity, including data processing or hosting.
• Working knowledge of the full EDRM lifecycle, from collection through to production.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent eDiscovery matters.
• Direct client-facing experience in a professional services or vendor environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication with both legal and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for your assigned clients, receiving requests and resolving them directly or through the internal teams.
• Process and host client data in Nuix and Relativity, release it to the review workspace, and support reviewers on the platform.
• Manage productions to specification, tracking each matter from data receipt through to delivery.
• Plan with clients on how to process and cull data and where to apply technology to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Coordinate across processing, hosting, forensics and finance so dependencies are not missed and shared resources are used well.
• Build long-term client relationships and spot where additional services would help.

Job description

You'll join the managed services team of a global eDiscovery provider as it grows its presence in Australia, running matters end to end in Nuix and Relativity while acting as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients. This is a hands‑on role. You process and host the data, set up and support the review environment, and manage productions yourself, rather than coordinating people who do. Around two thirds of your time is client-facing and a third is in the tools.

The team is expanding and this is a new seat, hiring in Sydney. You'll advise clients on how to approach their data and which technology to apply, then deliver it, working alongside the provider's processing, hosting, forensics and finance teams to get matters through on time.

Benefits and compensation

• AUD $130,000 to $160,000 inclusive of superannuation
• Hybrid working, two days in the office.
