Job Description

We are currently hiring for a part-time Receptionist (job share role 3 days per week) in our Newcastle Clinic.

This role will see you as the first point of contact for patients & visitors to the clinic, as well as fielding a high volume of calls. It is a very busy role with lots of variety and your typical day will include;

  • Meeting and greeting patients and visitors
  • Managing and directing a high volume of calls
  • Feedback management and triaging inquiries
  • Liaising with Doctors, key Nursing and Patient Support staff
  • Assisting with general administration

Qualifications

What do you need to succeed?

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Outstanding customer service skills which you have gained through some kind of reception/admin/customer service role
  • Common sense and the ability to remain calm in heightened situations
  • Warm and friendly nature
  • Strong computer literacy and IT skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Full working rights in Australia
