Sapphire Smiles Dental is seeking a casual Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team in Goonellabah.

This casual role offers up to 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with hours based on practice needs including leave cover and ongoing growth. Flexibility is essential.

What You'll Do

Chairside assistance for a range of general dental procedures

Sterilisation and infection control duties

Light front office duties, including booking, recalls, and payment processing

Prepare and clean treatment rooms to a high standard

Deliver excellent service and patient care

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 6 months experience as a Dental Assistant (Australia preferred)

Excellent communication skills – both in-person and on the phone

Reliability, initiative, and ability to multitask independently

Team spirit, positive attitude, and a commitment to patient care

Willingness to learn and work with new technology

Experience with EXACT and Certificate III in Dental Assisting is highly regarded
