Job summary

Tuiss Blinds Online is seeking a commercially minded Site Merchandiser to own day-to-day presentation, curation and discoverability of products online, translating interior design sensibilities into online experiences.

You will curate category pages, collections and key on-site experiences, act as the style gatekeeper across PDPs, category pages, homepage and campaigns, and collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to drive engagement and conversion.

Qualifications

  • Background in visual merchandising, interior design, styling, home decor, furniture or related retail.
  • Strong creative eye combined with commercial judgement and data-driven approach.
  • Ecommerce experience required; Shopify experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Curate and maintain category pages, PLPs, collections and key onsite experiences, ensuring the right products are featured, prioritised and presented effectively.
  • Act as the style and taste gatekeeper across the ecommerce experience, ensuring consistency across PDPs, category pages, homepage and campaigns.
  • Analyse category and product performance from a merchandising perspective, identifying issues with product selection, positioning, imagery or presentation and acting on them.
  • Own product discoverability across navigation, collections, filters, search and product recommendations, including cross-sell and “complete the look” opportunities.
  • Adapt global product strategy and innovations to local customer preferences, working closely with Product Development on execution and launches.
  • Own the seasonal and campaign merchandising calendar, coordinating product prioritisation with Marketing and launch schedules.
  • Curate inspiration-led ecommerce experiences including style guides, room-based collections, buying guides and other content that helps customers visualise products in their homes.
  • Partner with Marketing and Creative on photography, styling and content, providing product curation and creative direction.
  • Identify opportunities for new content and merchandising experiences that improve product understanding, engagement and conversion.
  • Track key ecommerce metrics including PDP conversion, category performance, product engagement and mix, using data to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Drive merchandising-specific share of mix targets across key product categories and strategic products.
  • Partner with Ecommerce, Marketing and Commercial teams to test, optimise and improve the online customer journey.
  • Regularly monitor competitor websites, home decor brands, interior design publications and ecommerce trends.
  • Identify relevant trends and opportunities to improve local product presentation, styling and customer experience.
  • Bring a strong point of view on local customer tastes and how our product range should be presented online.
