Description du poste

CORPAY is currently looking to hire an Ecommerce & Customer Journey Manager within our Vehicle Payments division. This position sits within our APAC team and is based in our Melbourne office. The role will help shape how businesses discover, evaluate and apply for our products online.

B2B customer behaviour has changed. Customers now discover our brands through AI assistants, search, paid media and other online channels; validate products and brands across multiple touchpoints; and increasingly expect to progress to a self-service purchase or application at any point in their journey. The customer journey is no longer linear.

The Ecommerce & Customer Journey Manager will manage and continuously improve this end-to-end journey across our Australia and New Zealand websites and ecommerce platform. The role will ensure customers can move seamlessly from discovery and validation through to conversion, transaction or self-service, in line with the regional strategy.

Combining B2B ecommerce expertise, customer journey optimisation and hands‑on technical capability, the role will identify and remove friction, improve conversion and increase completed online applications. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Credit, Product, IT, regional teams and external partners, you will use customer insight, funnel data and experimentation to make the customer experience simpler, faster and more effective.

How We Work

As the Ecommerce & Customer Journey Manager, you will be expected to work in a hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days at home) environment. CORPAY will set you up for success by providing:

  • Assigned workspace in Melbourne office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize the web and ecommerce platform.
  • Improve the end-to-end customer journey from discovery through validation and conversion to purchase or self-service, making it clearer, faster and easier for B2B buyers.
  • Identify friction points and opportunities to improve UX, conversion and ecommerce performance.
  • Ensure customers can progress towards purchase or self-service as easily as possible across the digital journey, rather than only at the final stage.
  • Translate customer behaviour and analytics into practical improvements.
  • Implement CRO, testing and optimisation initiatives in line with the regional framework.
  • Work closely with the Content Manager to ensure content, SEO/GEO and customer journey improvements are aligned.
  • Apply a strong understanding of B2B online buying behaviour, using quantitative and qualitative insight to understand prospect intent, abandonment and objections.
  • Ensure local websites follow regional strategy, brand, UX, platform, security and compliance standards.
  • Support the rollout of regional capabilities, AI-enabled experiences, tools and reusable components.
  • Build regular performance reporting and communicate insights, priorities and outcomes to stakeholders, and recommend actions to improve performance.
  • Gather local market and customer requirements and feed these into the regional digital roadmap.
  • Champion experimentation and continuous improvement within the Marketing team.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, Credit, IT, regional digital teams and external agencies to deliver improvements and champion continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5-7+ years' experience in web, ecommerce, marketing or customer journey optimization, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of B2B online buying behaviour and conversion drivers.
  • Experience working with CMS and ecommerce platforms.
  • Good understanding of UX, CRO and digital analytics.
  • Experience in SEO, paid media landing pages or UX research.
  • Strong understanding of how customer discovery and purchase behaviour is evolving across websites, search, AI assistants and self-service channels.
  • Ability to interpret website and customer behaviour data and turn insights into action.
  • Experience coordinating ecommerce projects with developers, agencies, regional or central teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills across Marketing, Sales, Product, Credit, IT and central teams.
  • A commercial, curious and customer-focused mindset, with a genuine interest in emerging ecommerce and AI technologies.

Experience in payments, financial services, fleet, mobility, fuel or another regulated industry would be helpful, but is not essential.
