Job summary

Animal Referral Hospital Greater Western Sydney is seeking a full-time Experienced ECC Vet Nurse to join a fast-paced emergency care team. You will provide nursing care to critically ill patients and support emergency treatments in a 24/7 environment.

Requirements include Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) and at least 4 years ECC experience, with strong attention to detail and a collaborative, friendly attitude.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) required.
• At least 4 years solid ECC experience—you’ve seen it all (or most of it).
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Ability to provide high quality patient care even in busy conditions.
• A friendly, team player attitude - team culture is very important to us.
• Thrives in a true 24/7 environment and happy to work a mix of days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill and injured patients.
• Collaborate with our skilled veterinary team to deliver timely and effective emergency treatments.
• Monitor patients closely, administer medications, and assist with medical procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Offer support and guidance to pet owners during stressful situations.
