Lismore Gateway Motel is a 34-room motel with a high corporate guest occupancy. The motel has undergone a complete renovation and re-opened in October 2024.

About the role

16 hours per week in reception (can be 2 set days if required), with the potential for more hours in housekeeping if needed. The position could transition from casual to part-time for the right candidate. A successful candidate may also have the opportunity to work at our sister property located in Ballina, NSW.

The position includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  1. Experience with motel reservation systems, preferably RMS (not essential).
  2. At least 2 years of experience in an administration role.
  3. Understanding of a modern office environment with basic to intermediate computer/IT skills.
  4. Outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail.
  5. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
  6. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  7. Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and some weekends. Shifts can be negotiated or set weekly.
  8. Barista skills are a bonus but not essential.
  9. Knowledge of OH&S and hygiene practices.
  10. Professional and enthusiastic phone manner.
