Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Canberra clinic on a full-time basis.

Genea Nurses provide frontline care to our patients, supporting them through every step of their fertility treatment. This role is unique in that you will work in an office environment, interacting with patients both over the phone and face-to-face. Alongside clinical duties, a significant part of your role involves providing patient care, support, and education.

Daily Responsibilities
  1. Coordinating cycle starts for ovulation induction patients.
  2. Reviewing and interpreting hormone results as per Fertility Specialist preferences and coordinating result reviews with the Specialist.
  3. Providing instructions to patients for self-administration of IVF drugs.
  4. Communicating results and next steps to patients via phone and providing support as needed.
  5. Maintaining accurate patient records, entering clinical data, and performing general administrative duties.
Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration who is genuinely interested in specialising in fertility. You should possess strong clinical skills and excellent people skills, as this role involves support and counselling. We value empathetic nurses who can build rapport and provide authentic, compassionate care.

This is an office-based role requiring strong administrative skills and technical competence, as you will need to learn and work across various IT systems.
