Job summary

The Tasmanian Department of Health invites applications for a permanent, full-time Clinical Psychologist within the Tasmanian Eating Disorder Service (TEDS). The role is based in Northwest Tasmania and contributes to a state-wide multi-disciplinary team delivering evidence-based assessments and interventions for adults with eating disorders.

You will provide specialist psychological services, liaise with other services, and participate in program development and staff training.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality psychological services within a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct evidence-based assessments and deliver interventions for adults with eating disorders.
• Act as a consultant to other services and promote community awareness.
