The Tasmanian Eating Disorder Service (TEDS) within the Department of Health Tasmania is seeking a Psychologist to deliver high-quality mental health services for adults with eating disorders. You will work in a statewide multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based assessments and therapies, and acting as a consultant to partners in the care network.

Eligibility includes Board certification, Tasmanian Working with Children registration, and relevant postgraduate qualifications.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualification approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.

Aufgaben

• Provides quality psychological service utilising evidence-based and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
• Provides evidence-based psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions to people with an eating disorder and their families or carers.
• Promote community awareness in relation to eating disorders and develop and enhance relationships with other mental health service providers.
• Act as a consultant to other agencies with regard to the support and management of clients with mental health needs.
