Job summary

West Moreton Health is hiring to lead the Eat Walk Engage implementation on selected wards for geriatric inpatients. The role focuses on preventing delirium and embedding evidence-based practices through expert clinical delivery, project coordination, and stakeholder liaison.

The position is permanent part-time (32 hours per fortnight) with hourly rates NG6 to HP4 bands, reflecting experience and site needs within Queensland Health.

• Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia. This position is responsible for facilitating the implementation of the Eat Walk Engage program on selected ward/s. This is a geriatric inpatient initiative supported by the Healthcare Improvement Unit and an expert facilitation team at West Moreton Health (WMH). Eat Walk Engage (EWE) is a patient-centred care program designed to prevent delirium and promote high-quality acute care for older hospital inpatients. The program uses an evidence-based implementation framework to embed sustainable change in practice.

The purpose of this role is to lead the implementation of Eat Walk Engage by facilitating initiatives that will prevent delirium for older inpatients by providing high level expertise in clinical service delivery; project management and project coordination; education and training; and stakeholder engagement, liaison and negotiation at all levels.

Permanent Part-time 32 hours per fortnight.

NG6 - $57.76 - $61.85 per hour

HP4 - $64.64 - $69.55 per hour
