Job summary

Exact is seeking an Earthworks Superintendent to drive safety, efficiency and on-time delivery for civil, bulk earthworks and road projects in remote locations across SA, NT and NSW. The role involves a FIFO roster: 14 days on, 7 days off, with on-site leadership and hands-on guidance.

Key duties include leading safety culture, aligning with KPIs and schedules, and liaising with the Project Leadership Team to maximise resources.

Qualifications

• Current driver''s licence (essential).
• Extensive earthworks experience.
• S1, S2, S3 qualification (desirable).
• Strong planning, time management and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-management ability.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Projects.

Join the Exact team in this key project leadership role as an Earthworks Superintendent.

You will play a key role in helping deliver road construction, civil, water infrastructure, agricultural and mining projects in remote SA, NT & NSW.

You will be responsible for ensuring project activities are performed safely, on budget and on schedule. The successful candidate will be expected to work a FIFO roster, doing 14 days on, 7 days off.

Role responsibilities include:

• Leading & maintaining a strong safety culture
• Driving operational efficiency, productivity and achieving schedules
• Having an ‘on the ground’ presence and providing guidance and feedback to the teams and individuals

The successful candidate will have:

• Current drivers licence (essential)
• Experience in a similar role, with extensive earthworks experience
• Cert IV or Diploma in Management (or equivalent)
• S1, S2, S3 qualification (desirable)
• Effective planning, time management and prioritisation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage others
• Competence with Microsoft Office and MS Projects
• Excellent communication skills
