Job summary

BFS Kiama Downs Early Learning is seeking an Early Childhood Trainee to begin a rewarding career in our supportive team. You will learn on the job toward your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while gaining real hands-on experience with children aged 0–5.

No prior qualifications are required, and you will be supported by experienced educators as you work full-time in a maximum-term role across our Kiama Downs centre.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No formal qualifications or experience required; you cannot hold a Certificate III or above in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Able to work full-time hours.
• Passion for working with children and community.

Responsibilities

• Attend to, educate and care for children aged 0–5 with the team.
• Learn towards Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while working.
• Collaborate with educators and teachers to support children's development.
• Participate in safeguarding and well-being practices.
