You will learn the trade under qualified tradespeople in a collaborative team, gaining hands-on experience making kitchens, wardrobes and custom joinery.

Daily tasks include learning to safely use hand and power tools, reading plans, and assisting with installations while upholding workshop safety and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Interest in cabinetmaking and construction industry.
• A genuine desire to learn the trade and develop skills.
• Good manual skills and comfort with basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Assembling kitchens, wardrobes, vanities and joinery.
• Learning to operate hand tools, power tools and machinery safely.
• Measuring, marking and cutting materials to specifications.
• Reading simple plans and drawings.
• Assisting with on-site installations of cabinetry.
• Preparing materials for production and keeping the workshop organized.
