Job summary

BDO Australia is offering a paid, full-time pathway for high school leavers to start an accounting career. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gain real client exposure, and progress through CA ANZ online study with paid study leave.

You’ll undertake CA Fundamentals first, then CA Foundations, with a four-year pathway to becoming a Chartered Accountant, supported by buddy and mentor guidance and study flexibility.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Australia (citizen, permanent resident, or full work rights)
• Completed high school within the past three years (2024 onwards)
• Completed Year 12 Mathematics
• Strong interest in accounting, business, or commerce
• Curious, reliable and keen to learn in a professional environment
• Enjoy working with others and being part of a team
• Strong communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Work full-time in a paid program for high school leavers
• Study CA ANZ online while working with paid study leave
• Balance work and learning with dedicated study support
• Learn from experienced professionals through on-the-job training and mentoring
• Contribute to real client work and develop a strong accounting foundation
