TAFE Gippsland is seeking a Specialist Advisor for Target Qualifications – Learner Engagement to design and deliver social and emotional engagement activities for learners, with a focus on those facing intersectional disadvantage. The role emphasizes early intervention, case coordination and collaboration with Student Support Services and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (or higher) in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in youth services, education or community-based support roles.
• Experience supporting learners experiencing complex or intersectional disadvantage.
• Experience collaborating with Gippsland community-based service providers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and deliver social and emotional engagement activities for learners.
• Lead proactive learner engagement through early intervention and case coordination.
• Collaborate with education delivery teams, Student Support Services and external agencies.
• Align pre-enrolment engagement with in-program learner support and distinguish outreach from in-course support.
