Job summary

Save Our Service Casual Recruitment Agency in Riverstone, NSW is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) for a full-time role in a childcare centre. The successful candidate will plan and implement engaging, play-based programs and support children’s learning and school readiness.

You will ensure a safe, inclusive environment, build strong relationships with families and staff, observe and assess progress, and work with the team to maintain high-quality care in line with NQF and EYLF

Qualifications

• Qualified ECT with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Current Working With Children Check clearance for paid employment.
• CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk.
• HLTAID009 – CPR certification.
• HLTAID012 – First Aid in an Education and Care Setting or approved Anaphylaxis/Asthma training.
• GECCKO National Child Safety Training.
• Current NESA accreditation (Conditional, Provisional or Proficient).
• Desirable: teaching experience in long day care; Class C driver’s licence; knowledge of early childhood legislation; strong computer literacy; commitment to customer service.

Essential Requirements

• Completion of Child Protection Course CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk.
• Current HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
• Current HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting, or appropriate Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training that meets the relevant regulatory requirements.
• Completion of mandatory National Child Safety Training (GECCKO).
• Current Working With Children Check clearance valid for paid employment.
• Current NESA accreditation (Conditional, Provisional or Proficient).

Desirable Requirements

• Previous teaching experience, particularly within a long day care setting.
• Current Class C driver's licence.
• Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations within the early childhood sector.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
