Explore & Develop Baulkham Hills is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to plan and deliver play-based learning aligned with the EYLF, creating a safe and inclusive environment that supports children's learning, development and wellbeing.

You will build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues, promote children's rights and participate actively in a collaborative leadership team to maintain high standards of education and care.

Qualifications

• Holds an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification.
• Holds a current NSW WWCC for paid employment.
• Understands obligations under NSW child protection legislation and mandatory reporting.
• Demonstrates commitment to active supervision and safe practices.
• Understands the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF.

Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) Explore & Develop Baulkham Hills

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment that supports children's learning, development and wellbeing, build meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues, promote children's rights, voices, agency and participation, work collaboratively with educators and leadership team to maintain high standards of education and care, and demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety, professional boundaries and safeguarding practices.

About you

• Demonstrates a commitment to active supervision, risk awareness and safe practices
• Understands the importance of professional boundaries, respectful relationships and responding appropriately to child safety concerns
• Has a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF
• Is positive, reflective, reliable and passionate about making a difference in children's lives

Competitive salary of $80,000–$95,000 + superannuation, dependent on qualifications and experience
