Job summary

Ku-ring-gai Council in Sydney is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to lead high-quality learning programs grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). You will design, implement and evaluate play-based activities, foster a welcoming environment, and build strong relationships with families and colleagues.

This permanent full-time role (35 hours per week) requires strong EYLF/NQS knowledge, a teaching qualification, and NSW certifications.

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACEQCA approved)
• NESA Teacher Accreditation
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
• Child Protection/Child Safety Certification
• Working With Children Check
• Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS
• Ability to lead practice and support team members
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for early childhood education and positive outcomes for children
• Eligibility for Council’s flex leave

Job description

• Salary $84,640.07 to $98,181.70 p/a + super

About the role

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality early education programs grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

You will:

Qualifications, experience & skills:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) approved by ACECQA
• NESA Teacher Accreditation

• Child Protection certification / Child Safety certification
• Working With Children Check
• Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS
• Confidence in leading practice and supporting team members
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
