Job summary

Parkhurst Early Learning is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to lead a high-quality Kindergarten program in line with QKLG and EYLF. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with children and families, and delivering engaging, inclusive learning experiences.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a supportive team, participate in ongoing professional development, and contribute to continuous quality improvement within the service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of QKLG, EYLF and NQS.
• Experience or confidence in developing and delivering an engaging Kindergarten program.
• Strong planning, programming, observation, documentation and assessment practices.
• Commitment to child safety, wellbeing and ensuring children’s voices are heard.
• Ability to build warm and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Collaborative, positive and solutions-focused approach.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and continuous improvement.

Parkhurst Early Learning is looking for a warm, passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and implement a high-quality Kindergarten program aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and EYLF
• Create engaging and intentional learning experiences that build children’s curiosity, confidence and sense of belonging
• Lead the planning cycle through observations, documentation, assessment and meaningful reflection
• Build strong, respectful partnerships with children and families
• Create safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environments where children feel secure, capable and valued
• Work collaboratively with educators and leadership across the service
• Contribute your ideas and experience to our ongoing journey of quality improvement

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or other recognised equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of the QKLG, EYLF and NQS

• Strong planning, programming, observation, documentation and assessment practices
• A genuine commitment to child safety, wellbeing and ensuring children’s voices are heard
