About the Role

Childcare Early Childhood Teacher | Northern Territory. Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our Northern Territory teams in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that inspire young minds and contribute to the growth and development of all children within the kindergarten age group.

Journey Early Learning currently has 4 centres in the Northern Territory: Nightcliff, Durack, Durack Heights and Millner. This is a full-time opportunity across Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure a high level of health and safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Create, develop and implement high quality and engaging educational programs
  • Facilitate play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interests, strengths, and abilities
  • Observe and document children’s progress and development
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families and the community
  • Develop and participate in a variety of community projects and initiatives
  • Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment
About You

You are an enthusiastic and inspired Early Childhood Teacher with a passion to lead the development of high-quality, age-appropriate programs and engaging daily routines that foster a love of learning in young children. You will play a key role in shaping educational experiences, nurturing strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.

Key Skills and Requirements
  • ACECQA Approved Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Current Working with Children Check – OCHRE Card
  • Outstanding level of verbal and written communication
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
  • Strong computer skills
  • Current approved First Aid Certificate
  • Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
