Job summary

Pearl Montessori in New South Wales is hiring early childhood educators to join a warm, collaborative team. We welcome both full-time and casual educators, with flexible start dates including January 2027.

Our Montessori community nurtures children at their own pace within a calm, respectful setting enriched by Jewish culture and values. All educators undergo child-safety screening and onboarding, ensuring a safe environment for every child.

Qualifications

• Must hold an ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Strong spoken and written English communication for interactions with children, families and colleagues.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check and Foundation of Child Safety Training required.
• Australian working rights and knowledge of EYLF, NQF and National Quality Standards.

Early Childhood Educators – Full-Time and Casual Positions

We are seeking two full-time educators, as well as casual educators, to join our warm and collaborative team. We are hiring now, although we can offer flexibility for the right candidate, including a potential start date in January 2027.

Pearl is a Montessori early learning community where children are supported to grow at their own pace within a calm, nurturing and thoughtfully prepared environment. Essential requirements

• ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with children, families and colleagues.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• Mandatory Foundation of Child Safety Training
• Australian working rights
• Knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and National Quality Standards
• A kind, calm and respectful approach
• Commitment to child safety, inclusion and ongoing learning
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate professionallyi
• Three current professional referees

An advantage, but not essential

• Two or more years of Australian early childhood experience
• Montessori experience or understanding
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• Child Protection and Food Handler training

Montessori experience is valued but not essential. We provide training, mentoring and practical support for the right person.
