Only About Children Brighton East is seeking a warm, professional Educator to join our team. You will help children feel safe, explore and learn through play, while supporting families and collaborating with colleagues.

You’ll notice what sparks a child’s interest and transform those moments into learning experiences in calm indoor spaces and inviting outdoor environments. The role emphasizes safety, inclusion and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Experience helping young children learn, play and feel safe.
• Understanding of child development, the EYLF and NQF.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
• Warm communication with children, families and your team.
• Working with Children Check and relevant clearance.

Responsabilités

• Create calm routines, thoughtful play and time to explore with confidence.
• Foster curiosity from stories, blocks, paint, nature, music and pretend play.
• Observe and share what each child tries, enjoys and learns.
• Set up spaces for movement, building, digging, dancing and trying again.
• Maintain warm, professional communication with families to keep them connected.
