the Y WA is seeking Casual Early Childhood Educators (Qualified & Assistant) for our Newman ELC. You will support early years education, implement programs with a collaborative team, and help children grow socially and emotionally.

Qualifikationen

• Degree diploma or Cert III in Early Childhood or equivalent.
• Experience as either Assistant or Qualified Educator is essential.

What you’ll be doing:

If you live local, you might know our Newman centre? If you’renot local, maybe you’re looking for that change of scenery? At thestart of your day, you’ll walk pass our award-winning nature escape(and smile), catch up with your fabulous colleagues and yourspecial little ones. You’ll be encouraging them to grow socially,emotionally while instilling a love for learning. Your Room Leaderwill work with you to develop individualised programs whilemaintaining developmental records and keeping parents informed.Then at the end of your shift, you’ll walk out the door (smilingagain) knowing the children are continuing to develop in body,mind, and spirit.

You’ll be great in this role if you…

• Have infectious enthusiasm and passion in early yearseducation and care
• Have a degree diploma or Cert III in Early Childhood orequivalent
• Have experience working as an assistant or QualifiedEducator (Essential)
• Have an understanding of the National Education and CareServices Regulations 2012, the EYLF and the NQF
• Can reflect on your previous experience implementingprograms in an Early Learning Centre (or similar)
• Can obtain a HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate, NationalPolice Clearance and Working with Children check
