Job summary

City of Greater Geelong is increasing its Early Childhood teams across Certificate III, Diploma & ECT positions. You will contribute to planning and delivering developmentally appropriate educational programs in line with regulatory standards.

Roles may be in Long Day Care or Kindergarten settings for three and four year olds, with multiple full-time and part-time opportunities across levels. Shortlisting pending interviews in mid-November.

Qualifications

• Possess relevant tertiary qualification for the position.
• Excellent knowledge of the development of children in the 0-6 years age group and proven ability to plan appropriate programs in relation to the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate educational programs reflecting children’s needs.
• Assist in evaluating education and care programs and make recommendations to the leadership team.
• Work in Long Day Care educational programs or Kindergarten programs for three and four year olds.
