Job summary

Australian Sports Commission – Cottage, Canberra, seeks an Early Childhood Educator (Certificate 3) to join the 48-place facility. You will support high-quality learning for children from birth to 5 years in a nurturing team environment.

Applicants should have a Certificate 3 in ECEC, relevant experience, and current First Aid/Anaphylaxis/Asthma, WWVP and Child Safety training or willingness to obtain. Ongoing, full-time role with professional development and leave entitlements.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Experience caring for children aged birth to 5 years.
• Knowledge of early childhood legislation, regulations and service policies.
• Ability to support planned activities and maintain records.
• Strong communication with children, families and colleagues.
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management, WWVP and Child Safety training or willingness to obtain.
