Qualifications

• Certificate 3 qualification in children services
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
• Current Blue Card
• Experience in long day care or similar
• Knowledge of EYLF and NQS
• Experience and confidence with classroom setting and educational programs
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Strong relationships with children and families
• Ability to implement stimulating programs and EYLF-based curriculum
• Observe and record learning for portfolios

Responsibilities

• Educate and care for children under 5 years old
• Communicate effectively with children, team and families
• Develop and implement educational programs based on children’s interests and EYLF
• Observe learning and contribute to educational portfolios
• Guide and mentor peers
