ELO is seeking an Educator to join our Smithfield centre, delivering high-quality learning experiences for children aged 0-5. This full-time role supports cognitive, social, and emotional development in a nurturing setting, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

You will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate programs, observe progress, build strong relationships with families, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain compliant, inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as an educator in long day care or preschool.
• Solid understanding of child development and pedagogy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to holistic development of children.
• Current first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma management certifications.
• Working with Children Check clearance.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters children's curiosity and love of learning.
• Observe, document, and assess children's progress, using this information to individualise learning experiences.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and the overall learning environment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
