Job summary

Eureka Community Kindergarten Association – Wendouree VIC is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator for casual relief across our services. You will apply current best practices to support children’s learning, growth and well-being, while working within a supportive, child-safe environment.

To be successful you will hold current WWCC and the required First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, a Mandatory Reporting Certificate, and GECCKO Child Safety Training.

Qualifications

• Qualified Early Childhood Educator with current WWCC.
• Mandatory Reporting Certificate (Early Childhood) required.
• GECCKO Foundations/Advanced Child Safety Training (Course 1–4) preferred.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications must be up to date.
• Demonstrated understanding of National Quality Framework (NQF).
• Excellent communication with families and colleagues.

ABOUT YOU:

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Qualified Early Childhood Educator with current WWCC
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
• Current Mandatory Reporting Certificate (Early Childhood)
• Hold and maintain a current GECCKO, Foundations of Child Safety Training Certificate (Course 1 & 2)
• Hold and maintain a current GECCKO, Advanced Child Safety Training Certificate (Course 3 & 4)
• Demonstrated understanding of and ability to provide high-quality education and care experiences in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF).
• Demonstrated passion for Early Childhood Education where you approach your work with positivity and a sense of possibility
• Demonstrated high level communication skills to ensurekind and co-operative relationships with staff, families, and community.
