Job summary

Reddam ELS, part of Inspired Education, invites applications for a casual Early Childhood Educator role in Sydney. You will deliver a holistic early years program for children aged 1-5, engaging in music, language, sport, drama and dance in a supportive learning environment.

Join a passionate team, work 2-5 days per week, and contribute to development through play-based, child-led learning while maintaining high safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong understanding of inquiry-based and child-led learning.
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively pursuing) is required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Room Leaders to implement an innovative, inquiry-driven curriculum.
• Observe and document children's development to support customised learning.
• Create safe, engaging indoor and outdoor environments that promote exploration.

ROLE SUMMARY

An Early Childhood Educator at Reddam ELS plays a pivotal role in providing exceptional early learning experiences for children aged 1-5 years, with a holistic focus on emotional, social, and cognitive development. In alignment with the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the educator will nurture curiosity, independence, and a love for learning, while forming collaborative relationships with families to foster a community of trust and respect.

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively working towards it).
• ACECQA-approved qualifications.
• A valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
• Strong understanding of inquiry-based and child-led learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
