Goodstart Early Learning in the Darwin area is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our not-for-profit network. You’ll be part of a collaborative centre team delivering quality early learning experiences to children and families.

Requirements include Cert III in Early Childhood Education, a minimum of 2 years’ experience, a current Working with Children Check and First Aid, and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS. We offer above-award wages and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in early childhood education.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification required.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Ability to lead a classroom and engage with children, families and colleagues.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
• Support reflective practice and share best practices to improve the education program.
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.

Responsabilités

• Observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs within your centre.
• Work collaboratively with peers to implement the educational program.
• Prioritise safety and ensure learning experiences are inclusive for all children.
