Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre in Glenmore Park is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator to deliver engaging programs that support children's learning, safety and wellbeing in a nurturing environment.

You will plan and implement activities aligned with EYLF and NQS, collaborate with families and fellow educators, and maintain high standards of supervision and care on a full-time, rotating 6:30 am–6:00 pm roster.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and relevant regulations.
• Current NSW Employee Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR and National Mandatory Child Protection certificates.
• Current Food Handler Basics Training Certificate.
• Strong communication, teamwork and documentation skills.
• Genuine commitment to child safety, safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational programs aligned with the EYLF, NQS and Young Academics' curriculum.
• Observe and document children's learning and development, creating experiences that promote wellbeing, independence and agency.
• Maintain active supervision and safe, inclusive learning environments, proactively identifying and managing risks.
• Embed child safety, safeguarding and mandatory reporting requirements into everyday practice.
• Build respectful, responsive relationships with children and support their emotional wellbeing and self-regulation.
• Develop positive partnerships with families and work collaboratively with fellow educators.
• Participate in reflective practice and contribute to continuous improvement across the service.

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 45 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant Glenmore Park Service.

About The Role

As an Early Childhood Educator at Young Academics, you will create meaningful learning experiences that support children's learning, development, safety and wellbeing. You will deliver engaging programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and our service philosophy, while creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Child safety is at the heart of everything we do. You will maintain active supervision, embed safeguarding practices into your everyday work and collaborate with fellow educators and families to support each child's wellbeing, confidence and love of learning.

This position is a full-time role – Monday to Friday between 6:30 am – 6:00 pm (rotating roster).
