Job summary

Arriba Group in Devonport, TAS, is seeking an EAP Counsellor on a contractor basis for a face-to-face role, two days per week.

You will provide confidential short-term counselling and wellbeing support through our Employee Assistance Program, working with individuals facing personal or work-related psychological concerns and delivering evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (see education).
• Experience providing counselling, EAP, workplace wellbeing or mental health services.
• Registered with ASORC, PACFA, ACA, AASW or AHPRA.
• Professional indemnity insurance and ability to operate as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs, identify key issues, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic strategies and coping techniques.
• Deliver solution-focused interventions to support wellbeing, resilience and recovery.
• Maintain confidential, ethical professional standards in all client interactions.
• Complete accurate case notes and records within VINCI.
• Manage billing requirements and provide itemised invoices for services delivered.

You’ll work with individuals experiencing personal, work-related, or psychological concerns, delivering evidence-based, solution-focused interventions that help improve wellbeing, resilience, and recovery.

• Support wellbeing, resilience and recovery through solution-focused interventions
• Maintain professional, ethical and confidentiality standards in all client interactions.
• Complete accurate and timely case notes and records within VINCI.
• Manage billing requirements and provide accurate itemised invoices for services delivered.
