Job summary

Djerriwarrh Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) is seeking an EAL Teacher/Assessor to plan, deliver and assess accredited language, literacy and numeracy training across Djerriwarrh sites. The role supports AMEP/SEE programs aligned with ACSF.

The successful candidate will plan and assess EAL provision, contribute to program development, and ensure adherence to Djerriwarrh’s child safety policies and inclusive practices. Part-time, sessional evening classes may apply.

Qualifications

• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
• Diploma or higher in adult education or vocational education and training.
• Credential enabling registration as a teacher (TAESS00011/TAESS00019 or TAESS00024).
• Bachelor of Education with TESOL as a method or equivalent postgraduate TESOL qualification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and/or assess quality accredited language, literacy and numeracy training at Djerriwarrh sites (AMEP/SEE/EAL programs).
• Deliver EAL training aligned to the ACSF and associated frameworks.
• Contribute to program development and ongoing assessment of learners.
• Adhere to child safety policies and mandatory screening requirements.

TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Diploma or higher in adult education or vocational education and training

Credential enabling teacher registration (TAESS00011/TAESS00019 or TAESS00024)

Bachelor of Education with TESOL as a method

Master of Teaching with TESOL as a method
