Job summary

Belmore Boys High School in the Sydney region seeks a dedicated Teacher of English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) to support students from diverse language backgrounds and foster their academic and social growth. A full approval to teach EAL/D is required.

You will collaborate with mainstream teachers to embed strategies, engage with the community, and promote wellbeing. Base salary ranges from A$90,177 to A$137,861 per year, with total remuneration up to A$156,253 including loading

Qualifications

• Approval to teach English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D).
• Capacity to work effectively in a culturally and linguistically diverse school community, including refugees and migrants.
• Strong collaborative practice with mainstream teachers to embed EAL/D strategies and lead professional learning.
• Effective classroom management and commitment to student engagement and wellbeing in a boys' education setting.

Responsibilities
