ASIC is seeking dynamic and dedicated professionals for two exciting roles:
Both are EL1, permanent roles, with locations in Traralgon, Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra (other locations considered). Salary ranges from $123,444 to $144,386 plus 15.4% superannuation, depending on experience. Applications close at 11:59pm AEDT, 19 May 2025.
The Enterprise Services Group includes Finance, Procurement, Property and Contracts, Performance Reporting and Planning, and the ERP Program. It provides support, advice, and analysis services across ASIC.
This role involves managing a team overseeing debt management of regulatory revenue, ensuring compliance with ASIC policies and government guidance. You will provide expertise on debt management legislation, including the Fees for Services Acts, PGPA Act, ASIC Supervisory Cost Recovery Levy, and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme Levy. You will oversee Administered Debt Management processes, maintain stakeholder relationships, develop team capabilities, and handle complex fee reviews and complaints.
You should have a relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field, and membership in a professional accounting body (CPA, CA, CIMA) is highly desirable. Proven experience in presenting complex information, resolving stakeholder queries, and providing specialist advice is essential. Strong communication and leadership skills are required to mentor teams, analyze complex issues, and interpret legislation effectively.
This position involves leading a team responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, and taxation. You will provide strategic advice, manage ASIC's tax obligations, court cost recoveries, and stakeholder relationships with entities like the RBA, ATO, and NAO. You will ensure compliance, contribute to financial governance, and support risk management and administrative functions.
A relevant tertiary qualification and professional membership (CPA, CA, CIMA) are highly beneficial. Experience in leading finance teams, providing high-quality advice, and stakeholder engagement is crucial. Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills are essential to succeed in this role.
