Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months experience operating in a civil environment.
• Current driver's license and own transport required.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Operating civil construction equipment such as excavators and backhoes.
• Performing routine checks and maintenance on equipment.

IMMEDIATE START - CIVIL OPERATORS

JRT are a local family owned and operated group of businesses, specialising in major civil construction projects.

We currently have an opportunity for Experienced Excavator Operators for an immediate start.

Note: We are not offering FIFO or DIDO positions. Must be willing to relocate to the Capricorn Coast.

Requirements:

• Relevant ticket or certificate of competency
• Drainage and detailed excavation experience
• Minimum of 12 months experience operating within a civil environment, preferably on road projects and subdivisions
• Current driver's license and own transport
• Initiative and ability to work without supervision
• Willingness to work as part of a team and assist with other duties as required
• Adherence to safety measures and basic machinery maintenance
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
• OHS Construction Induction (White/Blue Card)

Key responsibilities:

• Operating civil construction equipment such as excavators, backhoes, skid steer loaders, and rollers
• Performing routine checks and maintenance on equipment
• Collaborating with the construction team to complete projects on time and to high standards
• Following all safety protocols and procedures
• Providing excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders
