Job description

Position Details

• Full Time @ 80 hours per fortnight
• Fixed term until June 2026
• HS2 classification

The Department

The Revenue Optimisation Project Officer is a key operational role responsible for assisting the Senior Manager Revenue and Projects. The role supports the delivery of major organisational projects using best practice project management methodologies, benefiting both the Finance Department and wider Alfred Health departments.

Role Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with project-related tasks, including implementation, testing, and establishing new services.
• Meet project deadlines, track deliverables, and support multiple projects in a large-volume work environment.
• Oversee reporting and project documentation development, producing relevant artefacts.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and communication activities.
• Identify issues that may hinder project completion, escalate variances, and propose solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and processes.
• ICT background with the ability to understand new technologies and processes.
• Experience with finance system implementations, including testing, training, and change management.
• High-level financial analysis and effective communication of reports and data.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple activities concurrently.
• Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
