About the Role

We have a need for an eager, self-starting Trade Assistant / Assembly worker who is keen to take ownership of their role and overall productivity.

The role will include day-to-day logistics, such as material handling, general labouring (assembly), quality control, and freight preparation, with a view to aid output as much as possible.

About You

With a willing attitude and friendly demeanour, you will be required to:

  • Check (QC) and pack completed jobs for customers
  • Maintain a floor space, ensuring adequate space, organisation, and safety are adhered to
  • Aid with loading/unloading trucks/containers
  • Ensure the work area, tooling, and equipment are clean, tidy, safe, and ready for use

Key Attributes:

  • Previous general hand and manufacturing experience will be an advantage
  • Ability to undertake a physical role (manual handling/standing)
  • Commitment to meet our quality and safety standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Initiative and can-do attitude
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace to support our culture
  • Flexibility to suit shifting demand (overtime, etc.) (desirable)
  • HR licence (desirable but not essential)
