Job summary

Unitywater is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Practice Lead to translate strategic intent into actionable direction. The role balances architecture production (≈40%) with people leadership, governance, and practice improvement (≈60%).

You will lead architects across enterprise, data and security, building reference architectures and guiding major decisions. You will drive trust, activation of the Technology and Digital Plan, and ensure architecture decisions align with customer outcomes and

Qualifications

• Substantial senior experience in enterprise or solution architecture within a complex technology environment.
• Ability to translate business strategy into architecture direction and practical transition paths.
• Strong systems thinking with depth in OT and integration architecture.
• Experience across IT and OT boundaries including cyber security and resilience.
• Understanding of AI architecture implications, data readiness and governance.
• Proven coaching and leadership of senior technical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on activation of the Technology and Digital Plan with priority architecture decisions and roadmaps.
• Lead material enterprise architecture work and guide practice and contractors.
• Clarify outcomes, dependencies and lifecycle implications before commitments are made.
• Connect business capabilities, information, applications, integration, cloud and OT into coherent architectures.
• Provide leadership across OT and IT and support adoption paths for AI capabilities.
• Participate in Architecture Review Board and ensure design assurance and conformance.
• Develop principles, standards, guardrails and reference architectures.
• Lead and develop the Enterprise Architecture Practice and governance processes.
